Today was a very fun day for me! I got to wander again! Mon still has her conference and won't be back to the hotel until after 10 pm. :( but it is her last day so from tomorrow on she will be exploring with me!
Today I went to the Castel Sant'Angelo, the Piazza Navona, the Pantheon, and wandered the small shops and streets of Italy. It was wonderful!
Not sure what is on the agenda for.tomorrow, but I'm excited!
Looks like a protest outside of the Pantheon? That structure is still a marvel. We studied it in school to fully appreciate the complexities of that dome. Did you know the dome diameter is the same as the rooms height from floor to cieling? In other words the building is a mold shell of a perfect globe...43.3 meters dia.
